67th Narcissus Queen Search
The contestant applications for the 67th annual Narcissus Pageant are still being accepted.  Qualifications for contestants are: Must have a minimum of 25% Chinese ethnicity; Single (never been married or given birth to a child); Must be 19 to 26 years of age on pageant date (January 9, 2016); and A resident of Hawaii for at least twelve months prior to pageant.  If you know of any young women meeting those qualifications and is interested in competing in the Pageant, please download the application and send it to the Chinese Chamber as soon as possible.  Please open the attached documents 2016QueenSearchPoster.pdf,

Moon Festival Celebration
Chinese Chamber will be holding the largest Moon Festival in Hawaii on September 25 and 26 at the Chinatown Cultural Plaza.  The event is FREE and open to the public.  Festivities include a colorful lantern display and parade, live entertainment, moon cake eating contest, lantern making contest, food and craft vendors, a visiting Chinese lantern master, Chinese lion dancing, door prizes and more.  For RSVP and detailed information, please call Chinese Chamber at 533-3181 or 533-3886, or click on the event flyers below.
